- 簽證持有人將能夠在英國工作和學習，但無法獲得社會福利援助(Public Fund)。
- 居住 5 年後可申請永居權(indefinite leave to remain, ILR) / (Permanent residence permit, PR) / (Living permanently in the UK) / (Settlement)
- 永居費用2404英鎊 (包括生物辨識登記費用(fingerprints and a photo))
- 申請後6個月內收到通知, 通知之前不可離英
- 申請前十二個月內離英不可超180日
- 成功後會收到新的biometric residence permit (BRP)
- UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) account updated status
- 英國定居1年後, 可以申請英國公民身份,
- 費用1330英鎊
- 需通過Life in the UK測試
- 符合英語能力的要求（相等於CEFR B1 級，或具受認可學歷）(IELTS Life Skills B1 Test)
